We had some free time this morning, so we set out to shop! We walked to the Queen Victoria Building.

It has some neat sculptures.

I’m notoriously known for finding sweets on any trip we go on. I didn’t disappoint!

You get them boxed up in your own little box. I guess the little things excite me!

We did get a chance to see the Sydney Eye while walking by and the entrance to it in the mall. We opted not to go up since we were limited on time.

Late morning, we met up with our adventure group and started our tour with a Sydney Harbour Cruise.

Views of Sydney from the cruise. We rode all around the harbor and our guides even talked about where the prime minister’s house was and buildings that were being built and what they would be used for.

After the Harbour Cruise, we took a private tour of the famous Opera House.

Here’s one of the theaters. We were not allowed to take pictures in some of the bigger rooms because people were practicing. It was neat to learn the history of the Opera House and the architect who started it all.

The glass inside the Opera House. Too beautiful not to take a picture.

Check out the purple floor! pic19

Listening to more of the video and documentary on how the Opera House came to production/built.

One last pic from the Opera House.

We walked through the Royal Botanic Gardens of Sydney during sunset which was beautiful but quick because they were getting ready to close and we wanted to make it to the other side to watch the sunset. I did manage to get this picture of the tourist attraction Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair. It was carved by convicts in 1810 for the Governor's wife.

We met some amazing people the first day at the zoo and decided to join them for dinner tonight. We went to the Customs House. Amazing food, views and company.
